I’m Emma, a birth and postpartum doula since 2017 and a mama of four who deeply understands both the beauty and complexity of motherhood. My own journey—including high-risk pregnancy and postpartum challenges—has strengthened my passion for holding steady, compassionate space for families in every kind of season. At Salt Doula Co., I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and anchored through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Having Emma as my birth doula was the best decision. I had a really intense labor and I can’t imagine going through that experience without Emma’s support. Emma’s pain management techniques were very effective. She guided me through every single contraction and helped ease the discomfort as much as possible. Emma also helped me advocate for myself. She guided me on things that I should bring to my doctor’s attention and helped me make informed decisions. Her calm presence in the labor room helped me control my anxiety. In preparation for the labor Emma prepared a birth plan based on my preferences. Labor and Delivery nurses appreciated that I provided them a printed birth plan for easy reference. Emma advised me on exercises and supplements that I could take to get by body ready for labor. She provided me a checklist for all the essentials I should carry in my hospital bag. All her suggestions were super useful. I found Emma to be very knowledgeable and skilled. She supported me very well and I would highly encourage anyone looking for a birth doula to go with Emma.
