I take clients within 60 miles of Zimmerman MN . I serve hospitals, home births, and birth centers. Service area is typically Twin Cities and North West suburbs all the way up to Princeton and St. Cloud.

Some insurance plans may cover portions of doula care, but coverage varies. I can help provide receipts or documentation for reimbursement if needed. I am actively working on making this process easier and being more accessible to state insurance plans and Medical Assistance. Everyone deserves support.

My standard package includes one prenatal visit, birth planning, continuous birth support, and one postpartum visit. Additional visits can be added based on your family’s needs. Post partum packages vary but start at 16 hours.

A birth doula offers continuous support during labor, helping with comfort measures, relaxation techniques, advocacy, and reassurance. We focus on preserving peace and empowering you to have the birth experience you desire, while also thoughtfully holding space for you if things go off plan. We also are educated on different positions to optimally move baby down and out as well as comfort measures to help you work through labor.

A postpartum doula supports parents and families after birth, assisting with newborn care, feeding guidance, light household help, emotional support, and ensuring the parent has space to rest and recover.

Midwives and nurses provide medical care; doulas provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. We complement medical care by helping families feel safe, confident, and empowered. While doctors and midwives are typically in and out, you can count on me to always be by your side during the labor experience.

Most families hire a doula in the second trimester, but we can work with you anytime during pregnancy. Early connection allows for birth planning, education, and a strong support relationship.

Yes! I’ve personally experienced high-risk pregnancies, preeclampsia, C-section, twins, home birth, and hospital water birth. I bring both personal experience and professional support to guide families through any scenario. I also have experience supporting TOLAC/ successful VBACs.

Sibling doula care helps older children feel safe, calm, and included while their parent is in labor or adjusting to a new baby. This is a special separate package if interested
